A fashionable BUMP....now if only I could look like these beauty queens!

It has amazed me the way my tummy keeps growing and growing and growing. Over the past few weeks it has just blossomed...we call it a "torpedo". Weird huh? Baby Mac is either going to have a cone head or my tummy will eventually distribute weight elsewhere...its quite a site. So before you ever get preggers you look at all these other women and you are in awe of their precious baby bumps....isnt if funny, women LOVE 2 things...weddings and baby bumps! Well when it becomes YOUR body gaining the weight and clothes becoming to tight you start rethinking how precious those baby bumps really are....Well not really, I still think they are beautiful. Just look at these beauty queens...Nicole Richie, Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie...they are all stunning with their baby bumps!

Now if only I had their stylists! I will share my bumpalicious here soon....Have a HAPPY FRIDAY!

Fruit Pizza-Yums in my Tums!

When the summer arrives there are always parties to attend....wedding showers, baby showers, childrens parties, cookouts, Bible studies, etc. So I thought I would pass along a favorite recipe that I like to "cook" when headed to a get together. As many of you know, im not the best cook in the world, however I am learning everyday!!!! Who cant follow a recipe right? This one is from sweet little Paula Deen---dont worry I dont lick my fingers after touching the food like she does;-) Check out this easy recipe for FRUIT PIZZA.... trust me, if I say its easy, indeed it is!
The Ingredients:
"Pizza" Dough:1 package store bought sugar cookie dough.
Toppings: The fruit choices can vary to whatever you like...here are different options, you will see I didnt use all of these!
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 large peach, sliced
1 large green apple, sliced
1 large orange, sliced
fresh strawberries, sliced
6 ounces fresh blueberries
6 ounces fresh raspberries
Now put it all together like this....

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Flatten cookie dough onto a 6-inch pizza pan. (Dont press it all the way to the edges because it will bake over the edge of the pizza sheet, learned this quickly) Bake until firm to touch, about 11 to 15 minutes then allow to Cool.
In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar.
Spread the baked cookie with the cream cheese mixture and decorate with sliced fruit.
Slice and Serve.

Pure Deliciousness! ENJOY!

Kiss and Say I LOVE YOU.

I cant tell you how much I love kisses from my hubby. I guess is doesnt sound to outlandish, he's my husband, right? For some reason once I get that first kiss in the morning (yes morning breath and all) or the one right before bed time....I just cherish these kisses the most! Oh wait and the one he gives me before leaving for work....or right when he gets home from work....ok you get the point. When your heart is so in love with someone every waking moment with them brings the biggest smile to your face. Here are some pics of him as we call it "gettin' me"!

When Houston and I met and started dating we were at first doing the whole long distance thing...yes, 8 hours away, yuck. So we made sure that when we did see each other that the time spent together was very much enjoyed. We could have a jampacked non-stop weekend or do absolutely nothing at all and still have a blast. We noticed as time went by that it was harder and harder to leave each other and we quickly fell in love. I came up with a saying I would say to him everytime I would see him---"LYMTTY" (pronounced limmity) this stands for:
LOVE YOU MORE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY. This is now engraved on the inside of his wedding band. Its a constant reminder that in just this one year of marriage we fall in love over and over again each and everyday. We Love being in Love. Tell your sweets you Love them everyday, whether by mouth, in a text, with an act of kindness or as Houston would do it....just write it out and put it on the floor of the doorway!
Or write it in the sand......

However you do it....make sure they know just how important they are to you:-) Each day is a gift from God.
Have a HAPPY SUNDAY!

Baby Mac's Crib

So I have been going around and around as to what I want Baby Macs room to look like. There are just so many directions that you can go in when it comes to putting together a nursery for a sweet baby boy. It seems everyone is always drawn to BLUE (naturally) which is absolutely normal because its a boy! Being the indecisive person I am I HAVE to come to a conclusion on this one...he will be here in 15 weeks! Im trying to think about future and how I can get the most use out of the furniture that I decide to go with for Baby Mac. One thing I have decided is that a white crib could be used for a baby boy or girl, so thats one decision that has been made, yay! I am IN LOVE with these iron cribs....sweet, yet elegant for our precious little boy.
I am definitely going in the "Shabby Chic" direction as to furniture pieces to put with this bed. I love the vintage look. In Kingsport we live near tons of antique shops and I have scouted most of them out. We are going to have a blast distressing furniture for his little room. (I will post pics once I have a few pieces picked out) Now on to the final decison for his bedding.....hopefully this wont take long. A website that I look at atleast once a day is POSHTOTS. If you have a baby on the way, check it out, very unique findings here.

I will post a 25 week pic soon...the belly is out and he is kicking up a storm. I am constantly wondering what this little guy is going to look like??? Blonde hair, Brown hair, Blue eyes, Green eyes....and the list goes on. God is perfecting his little body as I type, what a beautiful thing:-)

Have a wondeful week!
